Senior Politics reporter at MSNBC, Alex Seitz-Wald, admitted that, for democrats, wearing masks is not about science. It is about virtue signaling your decency as a human being and proving you weren’t one of those “science-denying” Republicans.

They knew cloth masks didn’t do anything, but they had people do it anyway. Our kids went to school for 2 years with masks on their face that did nothing and they knew it. They knew the science wasn’t with them. Why do people favor masks? Not science, but virtue signaling.
