KATZ: For Blackface We Have Outrage. For Infanticide We Have Silence.

The blackface photo on Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam’s medical school yearbook page is ugly. It’s a photo of person in blackface, standing next to a person in a KKK robe and hood.

As Tony Katz says, “I don’t defend that. It’s ugly. And that’s being kind.”

However, the outrage over the photo was met by nearly equal silence over his endorsing if not advocating infanticide as part of an abortion bill bring proposed in Virginia.

Tony wonders why one gets outrage and one gets barely a mention?

Eat! Drink! Smoke! – Episode 21 – Explaining The Whole Twisted Gov. Ralph Northam Story, $50,000 Bar Mitzvahs, Avo Cigars and Stagg Jr. Bourbon

It’s rare that we are recording the podcast as breaking news is happening, but that’s how it went this week as the Saga of Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam was unfolding as we were recording.

A photo of a man in blackface standing next to a person in a KKK robe was discovered on Northam’s medical school yearbook page. At first Northam admitted to taking the photo. The next day, he said it wasn’t him. And, while we were recording, Gov. Northam was holding a press conference to profess his innocence…while admitting to doing blackface another time in his life!

As Tony Katz notes, the photo is unacceptable. But why is this the story, as opposed to Gov. Northam’s acceptance and support of infanticide?

It’s a busy Eat! Drink! Smoke!, recorded live at Blend Bar Cigar in Indianapolis. Tony, joined by April D. Gregory and Fingers Malloy, review Stagg Jr. bourbon and the Avo Classic cigar.

When you go out to eat, do you do it for the food or for the experience? And why spend $50,000 on a bar mitzvah?

The differences between Baby Boomers, Gen X and Millennials became most obvious at a recent Fleetwood Mac concert.

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam Advocates For Post-Birth Abortion. Tony Katz Calls It Murder.

A Virginia Democrat brought forth a bill that would allow abortions through the third trimester. When questioned about this, State Rep. Kathy Tran, admitted that the abortion could happen even when the mother is fully dilated.

Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam, in a radio interview, went so far as to say that a mother and her doctor could decide what to do with an infant after it is born. Yes, Gov. Northam used the word infant, and yes, Northam (who is also a physician!) clearly stated that choices can be made about the infant’s future after birth.

Tony Katz shares the audio, and comments on its twisted nature.

Eat! Drink! Smoke! – Snack Size! – No Heart Candies and Scientific Proof That Tom Brady Cheats

What the heck is Sweetest Day?

Nathan Phillips Is Worse Than You Know

Nathan Phillips was not attacked by the students of Covington Catholic High School. While media outlets around the nation tried to sell that story, the clear and unedited video proves this untrue.

What is true, says Tony Katz, is that Phillips is a liar. Phil Kerpen of American Commitment joins Tony to discuss the real story of Phillips: he lied about serving in Vietnam. He also has a history of aggressive behavior, and inserting himself into bad situations.

So why did media continue to push the lie that Phillips himself was attacked/accosted/insulted? And will any media correct the record?

Media Would Rather Attack Children Than Apologize

The Covington Catholic students have been attacked relentlessly. So-called “journalists,” media commentators and elected officials – never mind the rabid throngs on social media – have unloaded vicious and violent sentiments towards these kids.

Tony Katz thinks its important to remember that they are kids.

“When kids were murdered in Parkland, FL, and the high-profile students became cable news fixtures, I reminded people that you may disagree with what they are saying, about guns and the Second Amendment,” says Tony. “But they are kids. Remember that.”

“Yet, when it comes to Covington Catholic students, media professionals and elected officials seem to think they are fair game for violence and vitriol based on lies. They’re not. It’s just wrong, and they’re wrong.”

Eat, Drink and Smoke – Episode 19 – Is Fast Food Really Racist? Two Marches, But Only One Gets Coverage and the Florida Sun Grown Cigar

There’s no deal on the shutdown, and the Women’s March took place. So did the March for Life, but you didn’t hear about it…unless you learned that Ben Shaprio lost two sponsors because of his speech.

And a New York restaurant has barred women from sitting at the bar, because they may be confused for hookers.

Eat! Drink! Smoke! – Snack Size! – Motley Crue Will Not Get You Out Of A Speeding Ticket and Stop Taxing The Poor!

The new California governor wants to institute a water tax to help others get access to water. Yeah…it’s just an excuse to add yet another tax in the state. Unfortunately, California is not alone in raising taxes. Check out Indiana…and France!

Speaking of water, is it drinkable yet in Flint, MI?

And a guy in Canada gets pulled over in his car for speeding. His excuse? Motley Crue was on the radio, and he just had to drive fast. Do you think that excuse would work? April D. Gregory says she never had to blame the music to get out of a ticket.

Quick Hit – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez On Morality, Facts and How She Wants To Be Judged By You

On 60 Minutes, Dem Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told Anderson Cooper that more important than getting the facts right on policy, is that the policy is “morally correct.”

Tony Katz explains how Cortez has opened herself up to an entirely new line of questioning. “Rep. Cortez has done a great job of avoiding criticism and making those who attack her look bad.” says Tony. “But now, she’s let all that go. She doesn’t care about facts, which is exactly the argument progressives make about President Trump. And she has asked people to question whether, morally, her Socialist policies have value; people get to question her morality. I don’t think she realizes what she’s done here.”
