Teachers Have Secret Equity Survey For Students

Teachers at a school in central Indiana handed out equity surveys to their students. The catch was that they were told not to tell their parents. Now, if you think that sounds sketchy, you aren’t alone. Tony Katz has some strong words for any teacher who thinks it’s a good idea to have students keep secrets from their parents about what happens in class.

Friends Don’t Let Friends Eat Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream

Tony appeared on NewsNation Now with Joe Donlon to discuss Ben & Jerry’s choice to be the anti-Israel ice cream. They are welcome to make that decision and we are welcome to choose Häagen-Dazs.

Make no mistake. This isn’t about Israeli policy. This is bigotry, and a disgusting homage to the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanction (BDS) movement.

The Porn Star Debate

Turning Point is a Conservative group that encourages young people to get involved with Conservative politics. They were holding a convention in Tampa, Florida when one of the patrons who bought a ticket was asked to leave. The patron was a porn star and Turning Point said that the event was focused on youth and felt it was inappropriate to have an adult film star there. Did they make the wrong call? Tony Katz breaks it down

Biden Calls Facebook “Killers,” Psaki Supports Censorship. Are Republicans Smart Enough To Ride This To Victory in 2022?

The comments from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki aren’t unbelievable. They are very believable. Too believable, really. They are exactly the kind of totalitarian double-speak we have come to expect from today’s political left leadership. It is obvious that they have taken Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s edict to heart that too many people are interested in being, “factually” correct instead of being “morally right,” even when espousing the most debased morality.

Psaki admitted to the White House press corps that the Biden Administration is working with Facebook (and other social media) to flag “misinformation” on Covid-19. (Misinformation is the new buzzword for information the political left does not want posted. Said another way, it’s information that the political left doesn’t believe you have the right to post. Now certainly, people can/have/do lie on social media, but the question is should the federal government be watching your posts and then censoring them for “public good?”)

Not only did Psaki admit to working with Facebook to flag “misinformation,” she doubled down, saying that someone who has been banned on one platform should be banned on all platforms:

Understand what Psaki has said here. “Social Media companies should collude to ensure that certain people don’t have a voice, and they should do so at the behest of the US government.” Here’s another translation: That’s a nice social media company you’ve got there. It would be a shame if something happened to it! (Cue theme song to The Sopranos.)

Biden Giving Americans More Handouts

Today is the day where the payments go out to individuals with children. The $300 stipend for each child under the age of six is being deposited into bank accounts. As the government sends out more checks, the business world is still struggling to find people to work. Will these additional payments slow down recovery? Tony Katz explains.

Avenatti Whimpers On His Way To Jail

It wasn’t so long ago that Michael Avenatti was the jewel of the Democrats. The lawyer for Stormy Daniels was viewed as a potential Presidential candidate and was unafraid to stick it right to Trump. The Democrats loved him. Oh, how things change. The now disgraced lawyer is on his way to jail for the next few years for extortion. Tony Katz takes a look back at how we got here

Callers Shame Producer Ari for Being a Sheep

As usual, Producer Ari has proven himself to be not just a fool, but also a sheep. The man is willing to accept anything and take the easy route. Tony Katz and his loyal listeners chimed in to call out Ari for his latest, and most egregious example of his willingness to comply

Did Rep. Cori Bush Violate Her Oath of Office

St. Louis Democratic Rep. Cori Bush is an activist first and a member of Congress second…or maybe third. Her radical nature was known to voters when they elected her, and has been on display in the House of Representatives ever since. Her anti-Police stance has been made clear. Her Trump hatred has been well discussed.

But did she violate her oath of office with a recent tweet about Independence Day?

Playing up the standard leftist canard of racial division, Rep. Bush put out on Twitter:

For clarity, let’s engage a simple breakdown of the Tweet:

  • It’s Independence Day, not the 4th of July, that is about American freedom.
  • It’s not just American. The Declaration of Independence is a document for the people of the world.
  • Who is “they?” She doesn’t mean the Founding Fathers here. I assume she means “white” people, but she would have to answer that question. I wonder if any member of the press will ask her about this?
  • “This land is stolen land” is where I question the potential violation of her oath.
  • Black people are free. Rep. Cori Bush is lying.

Facts are not important when tweeting, that much has been made clear by society. But if former President Donald Trump was inciting a riot by saying, “We’re gonna fight like hell,” then what, exactly, is telling Black people that they are not free? But since there are so many Black Americans who know they are free, and don’t subscribe to Rep. Bush’s hate-mongering, her words are understood to be aimed at fellow Leftists. That is whom she looks to agitate.

Did Rep. Bush violate her oath of office? The oath reads:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Oath of Office for Members of Congress

Stating that, “this land is stolen” seems to fly in the face of supporting and defending the Constitution. Rather, it seems that she is siding with enemies (foreign and domestic) who often claim the same. What allegiance and true faith does she show here towards the Constitution? And how could she have taken the oath without reservation when she makes statements like this?

I expect, barring something miraculous, that nothing will happen. Considering Speaker Pelosi’s willingness to excuse the anti-Semitism of fellow Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, I can only assume that Bush’s comments will not be given a second thought. But they should be. Americans should note the hate she spews, and the lies she tells.

As a citizen, she is entitled to say what she wants. But she’s not just a citizen. She’s an elected official, with immense power and responsibility. And her comments damage Americans (of all colors,) and fail to support the wisdom, value and growth of the US Constitution.

Even if you don’t believe that her tweet is a call for violence against our nation, and a violation of her oath, it’s easy to agree that Rep. Cori Bush’s view of America is just vile.

Smoking Pot, The Olympics and Having A Standard

Track and Field star Sha’Carri Richardson was banned from competing in the Olympics for smoking marijuana, which is a banned substance. Tony Katz explained to Jacqui Heinrich on Fox News that the Olympic committee is welcome to change the rules, but the real conversation here is Richardson not living up to the standard required of Olympians.

If standards are situational, then we have no standards at all.

SCOTUS Sides With Right To Privacy In California Case

The government agencies of California wanted to know which citizens were donating to which causes and groups. All the donations are perfectly legal, so the only real reason for wanting this information is to imply sinister intent of the donor, or flat out intimidate people not to donate to the “wrong” groups. In California, “wrong” groups means “not liberal” groups.

Casey Mattox, VP for Legal and Judicial Strategy for Americans For Prosperity, spoke with Tony about the case AFP brought against the Golden State. After seven years of legal battles, the Supreme Court voted in AFP’s favor, 6-3.
