Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) led a group of Democrats sharing their stories from the day of the Capitol riot. It was a strange sight to see in the House of Representatives, and it was strange to see Rep. Ocasio-Cortez acting as if she was pious.
She made claims about herself during the Capitol riots that were, clearly, untrue. She placed sinister intent on Capitol Police who were trying to help and protect her. She accused a sitting US Senator (Ted Cruz R-TX) of attempted murder. And then, when questioned on her antics and comments, she claimed that anyone who questioned her was akin to someone who sexually abuses others.
All of it should be discussed, none of this should be forgotten…or forgiven.
