"RACERS" is a term popularized by Tony Katz during an interview on MSNBC with Contessa Brewer on Thursday, April 28th 2011.

It can be spelled "Race-ers," "raceers," "raceer" or "racers."

A "RACER" is a conspiracy theorist so consumed with race and racism, that they inappropriately, and irrationally, assume anyone who is opposed to President Barack Obama, or his policies, must be a racist.

Update 5/6/11 - As more stories about Racers have come to light, we found that Urban Dictionary.com also has a definition of "racers," since 2009. We are happy to have been the first to bring the term into the mainstream political lexicon.
