An incredible short cartoon, called “Make Mine Freedom.” It was made in 1948 by a filmmaker named John Sutherland, who (from some basic research) created over one hundred cartoons from the 40′s to the 60′s.

There is a magnificent comparison to the cartoon, and how millions of Americans feel right now – that they are being sold a magic potion that promises to save them, but will only destroy them. It also does a wonderful job of defending Capitalism, which is – to date – the greatest system for creating the opportunities for wealth and prosperity, and enabling freedom and liberty, on planet Earth.
